'Prelude No. 15 in D-flat major,', commonly known as the 'Raindrop Prelude' is the longest and most well-known of Chopin's Op. 28 preludes. The famous, delicate opening melody appears three times in the piece, and the middle section features some surprisingly loud and dramatic sections. The dramatic, romantic, delicate and emotional nature of the music lends itself very well to period dramas and romantic soundtracks. It has been used in the soundtrack for numerous films and TV shows, including 'Face/Off' and 'Moonraker.'
