'Clair de Lune' is the third (and most famous) movement from Debussy's 'Suite bergamasque.' It begins with a slow, delicate passage that gradually builds towards a loud climax. Eventually, the opening theme returns with slight variations, leading into a soft, subtle ending. 'Prelude No. 1 in C major' is the first prelude of J.S. Bach's 'The Well-Tempered Clavier.' This collection of preludes and fugues in all 24 major and minor keys, dated 1722, is generally regarded as one of the most influential works in the history of Western classical music. This is the first and most famous movement, and the sense of yearning and tranquility works very well as a romantic soundtrack.
