Collectively, the 'Gymnopedies' are seen as the precursors to modern ambient music - gentle, yet somewhat eccentric pieces which, when composed, defied the classical tradition. Gymnopedie No. 3 is a well-known piece, and the dreamy, ambient nature of the music lends itself very well to romantic and contemplative scenes. This is a solo harp arrangement, with the music transposed up slightly.
